From Legacy to Iron City: The Evolution of an Artist
My name is Barbara Bereksazi, and for years, I’ve been the hands behind Legacy Customs. I started this journey with a simple mission: to turn everyday gear into high-end, wearable masterpieces. Whether it was a pair of game-day cleats or a custom soccer ball, I wanted my work to leave a "legacy" of quality and creativity.
As my craft evolved and my connection to the 412 grew deeper, I realized my brand needed a name that truly reflected where I come from and the industrial soul of my work.
That’s why Legacy Customs is officially becoming Iron City Kicks and Customs.
Why the Change?
Pittsburgh isn't just where I live; it’s the inspiration behind every stroke of the airbrush. This city is built on grit, hard work, and precision—values I pour into every custom project. Rebranding to Iron City Kicks and Customs allows me to fully embrace my identity as a Pittsburgh artist and better serve the community that has supported my growth.
From iconic Air Jordan 1s to specialized sports equipment, I am doubling down on my commitment to providing the Steel City’s heart and sole of all things custom.
The Process
Every piece I create is a collaboration. I specialize in high-end airbrushing techniques that go beyond simple customization. I focus on:
Durability: Ensuring your customs are "Iron City Tough" for actual use.
Detail: Bringing an artistic flare to footwear that you won't find anywhere else.
Authenticity: Creating one-of-a-kind designs that tell your story.
The name on the door has changed, but the artist at the booth remains the same. Welcome to the next chapter of custom art in Pittsburgh.
Let’s build something legendary together.
